While I am still hopelessly overcommitted (I have cast on additional projects since that post), I have actually also finished a few items!
First up, Reagan’s Milo. I still need a picture of it on her, but I just wove in the ends and it is ready to wear. I’m glad I went with size 4, because while she may have turned only 2 on the 22nd, the is now in size 3T!
Difficult to get the colors when it’s such a cloudy day out :-/
I also finished a Bitty Bump for a Ravelry friend that is due on March 6th. Combination of commercial yarn and handspun.
I’m just missing the braided tie I did with the handspun to hold it shut once on the baby
I also started the super chunky Zig Zag Blanket. I couldn’t resist. The yarn balled up is the size of a basketball, and all kinds of awesome. This should be a quick knit, but knitting with US 35 needles can be awkward and a bit slow:
I’m also making progress on my Lintilla, but like the other shawl patterns I’ve done lately, the repeats are getting longer and longer and therefore also taking longer. I can’t wait to finish it so I can gift it!
I also test knit a shawl patter for Shannon @ SparkleShan, but still need to desperately block it. Here it is pre-blocking, knit in my handspun gradient yarn:
Yep, lots of knitting… which is a good thing since my now 2 yr old broke my Scotch Tension on my wheel yesterday and I’m now waiting a replacement parts (And yes, she is still alive…)
OK, back to knitting… or maybe i should block that shawl (if I can find my pins).
